Handmade is a marketplace where you can purchase unique goods directly from sellers around the country. Whether you are looking for handmade or vintage goods, we want you to have a positive experience shopping. Please read on to find out more about your rights, as well as what is expected of you, as a buyer.
Understanding Handmade’s Limitations as a Marketplace
Handmade provides a marketplace for buyers to discover and purchase from sellers around the country. It is important to note that Handmade is not a part of that transaction. By shopping on handmadegeorgia.ge, you understand that:
- You are not buying directly from Handmade but from one of the many talented sellers on Handmade;
- Handmade does not pre-screen items sold on Handmade and therefore does not guarantee or endorse any items sold on Handmade or any content posted by sellers (such as photographs, language used in listings, or shop policies);
- Each seller on Handmade has their processing times, delivery methods, and shop policies; and
- You assume responsibility if you provide your own materials for a custom order.
Ineligible Transactions
Unless required by law, some disputes don’t qualify for Handmade case system. These include:
- Items that have been altered, used, worn, washed, or discarded after receipt.
- Items that are returned without a return agreement.
- Items that are accurately described but don’t meet a buyer’s expectations.
- Cost of postage disputes.
- Items that are purchased in person.
- Transactions where payment is not processed by Handmade Payments, for example in an offsite transaction, or via Standalone PayPal.
- Disputes covered by local warranty or return laws applicable to a seller or their product
Shipping returns
Shipping will be handled by Sellers, any disputes regarding shipping upon the return of an item is to be settled by buyer and seller.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Returning an Item
Each seller has his or her own return policies, which should be outlined in their Shop Policies. Not all sellers accept returns.For returns on digital items, please see seller listing.
